PRINCE2 7 released

I’m delighted to share that the new version of PRINCE2, Managing Successful Projects, 7th edition is now released. I was fortunate to be asked to be one of the reviewers for the text.

The review process was rigorous and thorough, with input from a wide range of practitioners and subject matter experts. I like to think that our check and challenge helped the authors reflect on content, structure and concepts. With everyone’s input, the new PRINCE2 method and manual are modern, tailorable and reflective of current business practice.

The addition of the focus on sustainability makes it a method fit for the world we live in. There is a strong focus on people, with a whole new chapter putting people at the heart of projects.

As well as the new focus and contents, there are plenty of smaller tweaks that I think enhance the text. I look forward to hearing what other practitioners think about the content and how it will help them in project delivery.
